What is the difference between Compressed and Lossless Audio Quality in Voice Memos?

I guess what I’m wondering is, if I switch from Compressed to Lossless,
will the quality of the recording change? If so, on which setting will the recording be clearer?

You will not be able to hear the difference between Compressed and Lossless in your iPhone speakers.
But if you play the Voice Memo to a couple of good speakers, you will be able to hear the difference. But for quick recordings in everyday life, compressed is perfectly fine. I think Lossless can be good for musicians if they want to sample something.

You're welcome. Yes, Lossless will take up more space, due to the higher quality.
