Timer not ringing on new iPhone 14 Pro

We'd like to help you figure this behavior out. First, does this happen with all sounds, like Alarms too? Or is it just this ringer? If it's all sounds, try the steps in this article as they may help resolve this behavior: If you hear no sound or distorted sound from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch speaker - Apple Support.

If it's just the timer, verify the sound settings are set at Clock app > Timer tab > " When Timer Ends" tap and change the ring tone and set the volume. If you have a custom ring tone, try using a standard ring tone, such as "Radar".

Also, see if the same behavior occurs when you ask Siri to set a timer. When it expires, is there a sound or still not?

Make sure there are no Bluetooth audio devices connected to your iPhone at that time too, as the sound may be going to that device.

Is this for any timer value? Make sure timer is not set to the Autolock time.
