Cookie white list
I want my Safari browsers to only accept cookies or other saved internet data that I have approved, in other words a white list of web sites that can write things to my computer.
I do no business with Google or YouTube, but their cookies are continually infecting my machine. I delete all cookies after Safari sessions, yet these unwanted monitoring agents all eventually respawn if I do any web browsing. I have all the usual settings locked to safest mode (e.g., Stop Cross Tracking, block location, etc.). I have no non-Apple software on my computer, except Adobe products PhotoShop and Acrobat. Everything is always kept up to date. Same for my iPhone.
After spending time reviewing the non-answers from Apple and experts on this topic in this forum, I see only three logical options: (1) Accept that I can't stop being tracked by Google on my IMac, (2) Browse without cookies, (3) Stop browsing.
Anybody have any other ideas?
