how do I browse for a particular author in audiobooks?

Not for the author I'm seeking. It does if I type Grisham's name in the search box. I believe the problem is the author I'm seeking is in the process but hasn't cleared it yet. I'll wait a week then try again. Thank you for your guidance.
Are you using iBooks (renamed Books)?
Does your window look like this, and did you search like this?
There should be a Search Bar at the top-left of the Books window.
There is, but it just offers a selection of genres, not individual authors. I'm looking for one author in particular who supposedly has an audiobook available now in Apple Books.
