My MacBook crashed and will not turn on. How can I safely recycle this computer without giving the hard drive information to Apple?

Hi,

Even if you reformat the drive, someone could read the data on it, so best way is opening bottom case and takeout the drive from your MacBook Pro and keep it yourself.

I think Apple accept without the drive MacBook Pro as Trade-In.
