Missing Apple logo. system preferences, and top menu bar-a difficult problem with Monterey on brand new Mac mini M2

Started up brand new Mac mini M2 with Monterey preloaded, and I upgraded to latest version 13.2.1 as requested.

Using TV screen as monitor.

Apple logo and its menu not showing so System Preferences is not available, so remedies based on that are not available.

Other simple steps tried -no result.

Suggestions?

Thanks to those that offered ideas for me to try.

I spent some more time on them and a few other suggestions, but got nowhere.

Final solution was to buy a new curved monitor, and then once the new monitor was connected, the Apple logo and menu bar were back. Musing....If I was paying for my own time, I would have spent more than the new monitor cost!

My mistake, I really meant "Monterey loaded".

Main message is software is latest, but on screen the "clickable" Apple logo and the top menu bar missing is the issue, which so far I cannot solve.

Original idea was to use late iMac 2009 27 inch as a monitor, but that would not go into that mode, so I reverted to the LG TV hoping to get the system sorted there, perhaps even to buy a monitor.

Go to the LG TV’s menu and try changing the (Aspect Ratio) or Picture Size.
