ONE IPOD DROPS AFTER 10 MINS OF USE (EVEN THOUGH IT SAYS FULLY CHARGED) SO I END UP WITH JUST ONE WORKING ... so if I go out on a run I get both working to start with and then lose one side for the rest of the run. It doesn't work again until it's been put back in the case and charged over a few hours.

Hey there ANGELCAKEBATH,

Thanks for reaching out to the Apple Support Communities.

If having issues with one of your AirPods not working as expected, give the steps listed in the following resource a try that can help: If your left or right AirPod isn't working - Apple Support

If there's no sound in one AirPod
1. Make sure that your charging case is fully charged.
2. Place both AirPods in your charging case and let them charge for 30 seconds.
3. Open the charging case near your iPhone or iPad.
4. Check the charge status on your iPhone or iPad to make sure that each AirPod is charging .
5. Put both AirPods in your ears.
6. Play audio to test both AirPods.
7. If an AirPod still isn't working, reset your AirPods or contact Apple Support.

If the issue persists after going through the steps above, try testing your AirPods with another device to see if the AirPod stops working after being connected for 10 minutes. This can help determine if we need to look into additional options for the AirPods, or troubleshoot the device that the AirPods are connected to.

Keep us updated on the results.

Have a great day!

THANK YOU BUT I HAVE DONE ALL THIS AND I HAVE EVEN BEEN TO THE APPLE SHOP BUT THEY SAY BECASUE THEY ARE 'OLD' THERE'S NOTHING THEY CAN DO....My phone is a new i phone 14 pro max with the latest ios system so I am confident it's not that (plus the same issue happened before on my older phone). I hadn't appreciated that they only have a life of a few years if that's the case. Just seems odd that they can't be fixed.
