How do I get my air pods covered from apple? I bought them from a third party.

can you use your air pods if the coverage is expired?

You can use them as along as they work.


If you want AppleCare, refer to this support article: Buy an AppleCare plan - Apple Support


If you buy them from Apple or an Apple Authorized Retailer, the date of sale is registered as the date of sale to you. If you buy them through a third party the date of sale is is when the third party bought them from Apple or its distributor. In that case you may find the window for buying AppleCare has already passed.
