The rattling noise is caused by your noise cancellation and transparency mode on your AirPods Pro. These 2 modes use microphones from your AirPods in order to either have the transparent noise or the quiet noise cancellation. If a microphone is broken it can cause your pros to rattle. You can test this by switching your pros to “Off” This mode neither uses any microphone and is a neutral setting.
