I need a new printer compatible with Mac OS High Sierra 10.13.6......black and white laserjet (so broke from buying cartridges for HP Photosmart), easy to install, wireless......I am total non techie, so the simpler the better. Printer does not need to be a fax etc

iMac, macOS 10.13

Hi,

Look for one of the relatively compact monochrome laser printers listed in About AirPrint - Apple Support (perhaps something like the Brother HL-L2325DW/HL-L2350DW/HL-L2370DW models). An AirPrint-enabled printer is compatible with macOS, and can be used without additional drivers, provided that the printer is connected to the same network (Wi-Fi router) as the Mac. The AirPrint technology works with wireless (Wi-Fi) or wired (Ethernet) network connections. An AirPrint model would also allow you to print from an iPhone or iPad (Use AirPrint to print from your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support).
