I paid 9.99 for no ads on words with friends and I am still getting ads on my I pad and I phone!

Apple Arcade is a subscription which enable you to download the games in the arcade section in App Store, subscribing to it will not remove adds from other games you download from outside the arcade part of app store
I just want to know why I’m still getting ads when playing words with friends after paying 9.99 to Apple. The amount has already been taken out of my bank account. Very frustrating trying to rectify this!
