How do I get my FCP to show the method options for Stabilization?

Very new to FCP. Version 10.6.5. Just installed FCP on a new iMac 24 and learning my way through the software. I'm trying to use the Stabilization feature. I go to the Video inspector and see "Stabilization" under Transform, Crop, and Distort. Based on what I'm learning, I should be able to manually adjust the stabilization with SmoothCam and InertiaCam. However, I don't see anything under Stabilization (ie no method options, not SmoothCam, etc). I haven't found anything to explain why or how to resolve. Does anyone have any solutions on how to resolve (ie get my FCP to show the method options for Stabilization, etc)?

Appreciate the reply! Unfortunately the "Show" didn't get me what I was looking for. However, I just tried a double-click on the Stabilization header and that revealed the Method, Translation Smooth, Rotation Smooth, and Scale Smooth!

Appreciate the tutorials, will take a look at those :)

Welcome to FCP! Click the text that says "Show" just to the left of the downward Reset caret.

Since you're new you will benefit greatly from watching these two free tutorials. They will save you lots of time and get you up to speed with FCP faster.

At the right end of Stabilization is a Show/Hide button.

Thank you for the reply! I see the Show button, when I go there, my options are "Reset Parameter" and then under a KEYFRAMES section I see Add, Delete, Previous, Next. However, the entire Keyframes section is all grayed out. I have a clip selected and am able to check the Stabilization box and it renders, but again the other options don't show.
