All my emails on my iPad started going into “archive” instead of inbox

After me email was hacked, all of my emails started going into “archive” instead of inbox. I deleted by email account and reloaded it and that did not correct the problem. After adding it back in on my iPad, all of my emails started going to Archive and not Inbox. Don’t know where to go from here.

Securing an eMail Account:

Deleting it from Mail will not fix this issue. So, fix the account, itself, on the eMail Provider's end. Start with a new password. Then, view the devices accosted to your accounts and remove all devices shown (a feature likely found in account settings). Enable and use an app password, if available in your area (i.e. for gmail, go here: Sign in with App Passwords - gmail)
