iPod Nano 2nd Generation

I recently managed the content of my iPod Nano 2nd generation using my iMac running Monterey. Later that day I updated Monterey and now the iPod is no longer recognised in Finder or Music. I know the iPod is old but I still use it. Can anybody help?

I’ve actually solved the issue today after a month of trying. Reset the iPod! Finder then recognised it.

However in Music I could not do anything as it said it was open in another window which I knew it wasn’t. Someone in another thread on here suggested relaunching Finder and that resolved the problem. Now everything works just fine.
