Troubleshooting SOS:

A. Turning Off SOS:

If you do not need to use SOS, then cancel it, and say "pocket tap"

1. Go Here: Use Emergency SOS on your iPhone - Apple Support
2. Scroll to: End a call
3. As it Reads: "If you accidentally call emergency services, you can end the call. Tap the End Call button, then confirm that you want to stop calling."

B. Getting SOS Off your iPhone:

You Can't. What you are looking to perform is not an option. This is part of the iOS. You can, however, recommend to Apple that they rid of this.Provide Apple with feedback on this, letting them about your opinion of SOS Mode.  Apple may not get back to you directly, but the more feedback they receive on this, the more they will know their customers prefer, and what items exclude to include in iOS versions to come.

1. Go Here: Feedback - iPhone - Apple
2. Select: "Feature Request" for the "Feedback Type"
3. Comment: that you want to be able to get SOS off of the iOS.
4. Proceed from there as necessary
