Battery health decreasing very fast!!
Hi Friends, Is it normal that my MacBook's battery health reached to 94% after 220 days and a use of around 180 hours?
MacBook Pro (M2, 2022)

Looks normal.
One does realize the 10 Full Battery cycles over 220 day represents 22 days between each Full Battery Cycle which seems rather good IMHO.
Batteries are considered Consumable Products. Over time it will degrade to a point where it needs to be replaced.
The usage is normal as the capacity will go up and down all the time and never stay always at 100%. Apple Batteries are rated for 1000 Full Battery Cycles and / or 80% Capacity before needing Evaluation or replacement.
For additional reading on Battery and Apple Computers this link may help. About battery health management in Mac notebooks and especially for the M1 / M2 and Big Sur & Monterey and Ventura If battery charging is paused or on hold on your Mac
Depending on the Age of the computer, some aspects from the above links, may or may not apply to your computer.
A feature introduced into Big Sur & Monterey and Ventura was to preserve the number of Full Battery Cycles - there was an Algorithm coded into the macOS. It is perfectly Normal for Big Sur , Monterey, Ventura to Pause / Suspend charging the battery beyond 80% and hold it at that level. One can nudge / over-ride this by clicking the Battery Icon on Desktop Top Bar and allow charging beyond 80%. From observations, it will Pause / Suspend again once reading 90%. Same procedure to over-ride and will charge to 100%

Personal Info to compare
I had a M1 MBA purchased March 14, 2021
Used lightly ( maybe 2 hours per day ) until February 3, 2023 - about 23 months
It had a Full Battery Cycle, think it was 19 - 23 Full Cycles
The Reported Maximum Capacity was reading 91 % before I Traded it in for the M2 MBA
Thanks a lot for clearing my thoughts!!
As I can feel that you are specialist in these matters.
One more question: for good battery health,Is it better to use my MBP with plugged in or without?
Thanks in advance.🙏🏼
Use the computer plugged in where possible.
The battery will not over charge.
It will just not charge
Use it on Battery when plugging in is not possible like when moving around from one location to another.
Maybe once a Month, use the computer on Battery for maybe 4 -5 hours continually.
This will allow the Battery to " Get Some Exercise " and cause the chemicals and such to work ( sort of speak )
Then, resume the Plugged In where possible routine again
Happy Computing
Thanks for your reply.🙏🏼
but for all this duration(220 days) I have used it only 40-50 times for 4-5 hours.
Is it still considered normal?
