Is the AirPod charging case able to be charged via a MacBook?
I have new Gen 3 airpods with charging case that are not responding when they are plugged into the MacBook Air, with a usb-c -> lightning cable.

That's a great question! You should be able to charge it as long as there is a power source available. Did you try it on another computer or a wall outlet? If it works on another computer or wall outlet, there might be an issue coming from the Mac port. If it doesn't work on another computer or wall outlet, you may have an issue with the charging cable.
