Using Apple Gift Cards to Pay Monthly Icloud and Appletv subscriptions

We’re happy to help out. You can use your Apple ID balance from gift cards you’ve redeemed to pay for your subscriptions.

If you have a payment method on file, your balance will always be used prior to being charged to that payment method, so there’s nothing in particular you’d need to do to specify that it use your balance.

Apple Gift Card and Apple Account balance can't be used for some purchases

* You can't use your Apple Account balance to send gifts or gift cards.

* If you use Family Sharing, your family members can't spend your Apple Account balance. Funds that you add to your Apple Account balance are available only to you. Learn more about how purchases bill to your Apple Account balance.
