Does unpaired Apple Watch store my data?

Hi, I bought a new watch without unpairing my old one. Since I paired my new watch the old one doesn’t even show up in the watch app. Does it still contain info, messages, credit card #’s things like that? I can’t imagine it would but I’m not 100%. Thanks

If you didn't do what the link below tells you to do, yes, the watch still has data on it. But someone in possession of the watch won't likely be able to access any of the data unless they know your Apple ID and Password. Of course, if you sold the watch or gave it to someone else, they wont be able to use it.

See what you should have done with the previous watch here --> What to do before you sell, give away, or trade in your Apple Watch, or buy one from someone else - Apple Support

There is a section in the link about what to do if you no longer have the watch.
