macro shooting mode problems
I have the macro function disabled on my 14 pro max phone. But in facetime calls and on Instagram, macro shooting works automatically. How to turn off macro shooting in programs?

We understand you've made changes to your Camera Macro Control settings, but they don't seem to stay when you use other camera related apps. We have a setting for you to check that should resolve this. Here's the guide we'll be working from: Take macro photos and videos with your iPhone camera - Apple Support
First, make sure you went to Settings > Camera and enabled Macro Control. If that is already enabled, do the following to preserve the settings you made.
- Go to Settings > Camera.
- Tap Preserve Settings.
- Enable Macro Control here.
This will preserve the Macro settings you made in the Camera app and should maintain when you choose another app like FaceTime or Instagram. Test the results, then reply back here.
