Keynote has no instant alpha

Where is instant alpha? I have been using it for years and now it has disappeared from my toolbar and is not in the range of tools to customize.

My old Mac with High Sierra has it and it is great. Looks like the latest Keynote has removed it?

I tried Remove Background and I cannot do what I need to do with it. I removes all kinds of items I want to keep.

Instant Alpha has been renamed Remove Background, it works just as it did before the name change.

However I always use a dedicated image editing application to create transparency, [Affinity Photo available from the App Store], the Keynote tool is a bit too crude for my liking.
