I need to connect my phone to my printer when no wifi is available. Can I use the Lightning to usb cable?? My printer only has USB port

If your printer in fact has USB only, not Wi-Fi or Ethernet, there may be a workaround if you have access to a Mac computer (running OS X 10.9 Mavericks or newer, acting as a print server for the iPhone via a special third-party Mac app). However, you would also need some kind of local Wi-Fi network/hotspot, but that could be arranged via almost any old (second-hand) Wi-Fi router.
