Please respect the original titles of the albums and songs, and remove the translations.
Titles of albums and songs in foreign languages (a different one from the device or store language) are translated. For example, Japanese songs in US Apple Music show up with Romaji, rather than their original Hiragana, Katakana, or Kanji. Chinese songs are often in Pinyin, or translated. There is not an option to turn off the translations or transliterations.
Please remove this feature, or at least provide an option to disable that and display songs in their original form. The titles convey meanings from the artist, and those meanings are often lost with the transliterations and translations. It’s very disrespectful to the original content and the artist.
I know that this is an added layer of logic added to the displays of the song names. Because if you change the device language, the content is displayed in its original form. However, this only works for one language, but it’s common for people to listen to songs in many languages like Japanese, Korean, and Chinese. Users should not be forced to choose one language, and be forced to view others in broken translations.
Those who listen to songs in a foreign language are most likely to be multilingual, or at least they like that foreign language. It’s not reasonable to assume that they always want a translated versions of their beloved songs.
