Be careful with clicking on texts that show up saying things like;

  • problem with Amazon order or login, click here
  • there is a billing issue with Netflix click here
  • AppleID locked, click here

All of these messages “could be” phishing attacks. I would first do the following before clicking any of the three above.

for Amazon, try logging into your account by using safari first to see if it actually has an issue. If it does, DONT use the number the mesg says to call, but use Apple Maps to locate Amazon, Netflix, and Apple and check the number there.

Most of the Amazon phishing links come in early in the morning or middle of the night hoping there is a better chance you’ll click on it by accident. DONT

For Netflix, do you even have an account with them, if so contact them directly from the number on the bill. We get these, but not a Netflix user.

For Apple, check your login to make sure you can log in, if not call tech support at 1-800-MY-APPLE to try and resolve.

good luck
