Mac says that a software update is required to connect to iPhone or iPad but I am running latest version of MacOS and iOS
Is anyone else continued to receive this msg and did you find a solution for it?

The solution is to accept the update. It's a small firmware update for Finder on your Mac. It is not a macOS or iOS version update.
