My bill for paramount plus

I believe that I am being charged monthly and annually as well.

Why do you believe this?

Do note, that you can only be subscribed to one type of subscription at a time. When you change to another type the previous option gets cancelled and replaced with the new type.


If you are the Family Organizer in a Family Sharing group, you will be charged for your subscriptions, and any subscriptions other family members initiate. In which case it possible to be charged for A monthly subscription on your account and a yearly subscription on a different person's account. Also applies if you share a payment method with someone.


Check your subscriptions by following the steps in the support document linked below.

It would be possible to subscribe to Paramount+ with billing through Paramount+ directly.

It would be possible to subscribe to Paramount+ with billing through Apple, as started in the Paramount+ app on an Apple device.

It would be possible to subscribe to Paramount+ with billing through Apple, as started in the Apple TV app Channel Paramount+.


These types of subscriptions could exist simultaneously.


See what it says in your subscriptions overview.

- Does it list ‘Paramount+’ ?

- Or does it list ‘Paramount+ tv channels’ ?

- Or both?


Is there a way that you can verify that?

This is a user-to-user support forum. No-one here has access to your account details. You should be able to see it in your subscriptions overview, for as far a billed through Apple. Subscriptions with the content provider directly would be billed to them directly, and be known to them only. If you need to speak to Apple Support staff about subscriptions on your account, then you can contact them.

Sorry for your losses.


Moving should not cause multiple subscriptions to appear and co-exist unless you manually started them in some way explained by Urquhart above.


If you are getting emails stating subscriptions to Paramount+ then it sounds like you subscribed through the Paramount + website directly more than once. Apple would not send any mails about subscriptions through then, and the id on your payment method would just have “apple.com/bill” and would not identify what its for directly.


You will need to verify at Paramount’s website wether you have multiple subscriptions with them directly. You may be using different accounts there. So check what email addresses you are getting the subscription emails to.



This is a user to user forum, you are not addressing Apple Support, we have no access to your accounts, and as such no way to check what you are subscribed to.

In which case, then check your subscription listing as explained above, and the subscription listing for any other pewrosn you share the payment method with or are in a Family Sharing group with.

Sorry it took so long to get back to you. I am not in a family share plan. I’m wondering if it is because I move three times in three months November 2020 I moved from Gladwin Michigan to Lenox Township Michigan and then five weeks later, I moved to Clinton Township Michigan Due to my husband’s passing and my son passed nine days later so I was moved in with my older son and his family. That’s where I use the Paramont plus. Is there a way that you can verify that? Thank you very much greatly appreciate it.

I’m sorry I have the dates wrong I moved from Gladwin 11 of 2021 to Lenox township. I lived there only for six weeks then I moved to Clinton Twp on Christmas Day of 2022 and in February I changed my bill from monthly to annually! My son does my bills so I looked at my email & last February and this February I was charged for both???? I hope that someone can help with this issue!
