If you are unable to resolve the problem, you would be best advised to visit the Genius Bar at your local Apple Store or Apple Authorised Service Provider (AASP) - where the technicians will be able to test and assess your iPad and Pencil.

If the Pencil is defective, the technicians will resolve the problem under your Pencil’s warranty. If the Pencil was purchased directly from Apple within the last 14-days, you’ll already be able to unconditionally exchange the Pencil for a replacement.
