Macbook not displaying light colors such as light grey, pink etc.

So I have a MacBook Pro (mid 2015, retina) and it is not displaying various colors such as grey and light pink etc. I have attached a screenshot for reference. I see both of these dialogue boxes as pure white on my screen. I have attached a second monitor with my MacBook as well and the result has stayed the same. I have tried every other color profile to see changes. These colors become visible in academy color encoding only but everything else gets too dark. I have sent this same image to another 2015 mid model and all the colors were visible were on that device properly.

Thanks for posting in Apple Support Communities.


Since your colors are not showing as expected, make sure that your computer has been restarted, macOS has been updated to the latest software for the most performance fixes. Also, disconnect any additional devices and check whether this behavior continues. For any ongoing behavior, calibrate your display.


On your Mac, choose Apple menu  > System Settings, then click Displays  in the sidebar. (You may need to scroll down.)
Click the pop-up menu next to “Color profile” on the right, then choose Customize. The color profile for your display and a list of other color profiles appears.
Click the Add button  to open Display Calibrator Assistant.
Display Calibrator Assistant walks you through adjusting your display, then creates a calibrated color profile. The number of adjustments in the calibration process varies depending on the type of display.
When the display profile is ready, it’s automatically assigned as your display’s color profile.
