When dragging PDFs or image files into a note in Notes currently the whole of the space in the note is taken up with a preview of the document. Is there a preference setting or method of doing it so that only the document icon appears in the note rather than a preview of the file? Any input on this would be very much appreciated. Thanks.

About the best you can do is to CTRL-Click the photo in Notes and select view as small image. This will eliminate the picture taking up the Note page, but still allows you to select the photo to make it bigger.

Jim, many thanks for your advice which does exactly what I hoped. Simple, but effective and a solution I would have spent a long time finding on my own. Much appreciated.
