Can I use my iPhone in Philippines freely if I connect to Wi-Fi and if someone can tell me how much is SIM card and top ups cost

That will depend on what kind of use you want to give it. Wi-fi will let you access the internet, so you can open websites and send iMessages. Cellular calls and SMS messages may still be charged under your carrier's roaming fees or maybe to work at all if they don't support Wi-Fi calling unless you ahve active cellular service.

That would be question best asked of a local carrier in the Philippines. If you get a pay as you go or pre-paid sim, top ups will be whatever you want to pay. You can top up $10 bucks or $100 if you want.


Do note, if you use a local SIM card, you would get a local number, and your contacts outside of the Philippines would need to call and message you to that local number which may incur international messaging and calling costs for them.


You can always contact your current carrier and see if they offer roaming plans for the Philippines.
