Anyone found a fix for the iCalender time zone problem?

I travel frequently between time zones. So, when I make an appointment, it can be in my home time zone or in my local time zone or whichever I so choose. Now, when I go back to my home time zone, I do not expect all my previously made in PST zone appointments to go to the MST zone! What is happening??

Example:

I made several ongoing appointments, that happen once a month for the next 6 months in PST, I travel to Denver, and make several appointments in MST for that week. I go home back to PST. Now, all my previously made appointments that were in PST have changed to MST!!!!

Yes, time zone support is on in iCal.

Yes, set time zone automatically using your current location.

Yes, set time and date automatically.

Or do I simply have to go and manually edit all of them..

Thanks in advance for any input

Salutations wrince,

We’re including a link below with steps on changing the time one for events. Use different time zones in Calendar on Mac

Switch your calendar’s time zone
1. In the Calendar app on your Mac, choose Calendar > Settings, then click Advanced.
2. Select “Turn on time zone support.”
3. Click the pop-up menu to the left of the Calendar search field, then choose a time zone.
To choose a time zone that isn’t listed, choose Other.

Events are moved to the correct dates and times for the time zone.

Change the time zone for an event
1. In the Calendar app on your Mac, choose Calendar > Settings, then click Advanced.
2. Select “Turn on time zone support.”
3. Double-click the event, or force click it. Click the event’s date, click the Time Zone pop-up menu, then choose an option.
• To choose a time zone that’s not listed, choose Other.
• To keep the event from moving when you view a different time zone, choose Floating.

Thanks.
