Found Airpods last year at Singapore airport. Today my conscious told me to return them.

Apple is not able to provide any information about the owner of lost or stolen items. In the case you describe with AirPods lost several months ago it is likely the batteries will have self-discharged and will be useless.
Even if you had posted here within minutes of finding the AirPods it is very unlikely you would have been able to locate the owner. Months later there is no chance whatsoever. Unfortunately the only thing you can do with the found AirPods is send them for proper recycling.
