How to remove this message "Cannot verify server identity" from my iPhone?

Since a couple of weeks I get a pop up on my screen: “Cannot verify server identity of teamwebs.nl” . I don’t have An e-mail account at teamwebs.nl. I only used to import a Calendar from their website. But the last time I used that calender was in 2016 i think.

I tried to delete all these calender-items but that did not help.

What do I need to do the get ride of this message?

Hi Kammie,

We appreciate those additional details about this issue. Since this alert appears to be related to an email account, navigate to Settings > Mail > Accounts, select the account that is associated with the error message you are getting and then select 'Delete Account'. This should remove the account from your device and make it so this message stops appearing.

Third-party calendars can also cause this to occur. To remove these, follow these steps from Delete spam calendars and events on iPhone:

How to remove calendar spam on your iPhone in iOS 14.6 or later
1. Open the Calendars app.
2. Tap the unwanted Calendar event.
3. Tap Unsubscribe from this Calendar at the bottom of the screen.
4. To confirm, tap Unsubscribe.

We hope that helps!

Hey there Kammie,

We'd like to help, but we'll need more details to better understand what's happening, along with ruling out some possible causes:

  1. You mentioned that this started a couple of weeks ago, but do you recall the last thing you were doing on your iPhone right before it began?
  2. Where exactly is this message showing within your iPhone?
  3. Have you noticed this message showing only when using a specific app, performing a specific action, etc.? In other words, we're trying to ask if you've noticed any similarities of when this message does show.
  4. Sometimes unexpected behavior can be resolved with a restart: Restart your iPhone
  5. If you have a compatible iPad model, the latest version is iPadOS 16.3.1. You can verify this within Settings > General > About. In case you needed it, this link shows how to first back up, then Update your iPhone or iPad.

Cheers!

Thanks for your reply.

I will try to answer your questions.

  1. No I have no idea. Maybe it started after the last update, but as my iPhone updates automatically, I’m not sure about that.
  2. I receive this message every morning on my start screen when I open my IPhone and sometimes it appears during the day as well.
  3. No, it’s not appearing when i use a specific app. The only similarity is that it appears when I haven’t used my phone for a while. During the day, it looks to appear randomly.
  4. I’ve already tried, but that doesn’t help.
  5. I just installed 16.3.1 on my IPhone, but within a minute after restarting my phone the message appeared.

I hope you have any other suggestions that might help!
