Calendar app has gone nuts

Hi, my calendar app has moved dates or doubled information twice now. If I have something dow for the 15th it suddenly shows as being for the 15th and 16th or stuff like that. Generally won't let me edit it to correct it and if I do manage a few days later it shows up wonky again. The only way I've been able to fix the information is to write down every event I have written down so I can delete it all and put the info back in.... which ultimately resulted in a repeat a couple of months later. Any ideas what is going on? A calendar that has to be reset every couple of months isn't exactly much use.

Hi eliza198,

We'll be glad to provide some assistance. Generally, there is no way for what you've described to happen automatically with Calendar. You mention not being able to edit the events. What happens when you try?

Is it possible you're using the Calendar app to interface with some 3rd party calendar functions from another account? Email accounts and similar can use calendars in the Calendar app, which could be edited by their respective sources.

You can see what accounts you have on your iPad using the Calendar app from Settings  > Calendar > Accounts

Cheers.
