Does is harm the computer to keep it plugged in whenever I use it in my office space?

Are there optimal maximum and minimum charge levels for MacBook Pro battery?

Thanks

The ideal range for most lithium ion batteries is between 50 and 80 percent charge. Your MacBook Pro has some built-in features to mitigate battery degradation over time, but batteries are consumable and will eventually lose their maximum charge capacity. By default on MacBook Pro models introduced in 2018 or later, Optimized Battery Charging is enabled. While enabled, you might notice charging is paused on your Mac around 80%. If you keep your Mac connected to power at the same time each day -- or if you never disconnect your MacBook from power -- your Mac will learn from your usage habits and pause charging.

There are also third-party applications for Mac that can replicate this functionality and give you more fine-tuned control over your Mac's charging.
