Most games not connecting through wifi, have reset EVERYTHING, even completely replaced iPhone since, still won’t connect most games through wifi only mobile data works. I pay for home internet and do not use mobile data as it costs an extortionate amount when I’ve already paid for a home connection. If your gonna try to force me to use mobile data make it free.

Doesn’t seem to matter what wifi network I use or it’s settings, never been able to connect with most online games over any Wi-Fi network ever, on any iPhone I’ve ever owned. But they work with mobile data? The games download on wifi but cannot connect to servers on wifi. I can see others have the same problem. I don’t know if it’s because I’m in the uk, as a rule I spend nothing on apple games as there’s no guarantee they will work

if the wifi network block some of the ports required by the games then that would explain it
many public / work / school networks block just about anything but port 80 (its the port web browsers use)
if it was me and it was my private wifi network then I would look into which ports is allow and which it block

and maybe contacting one or more of the game developers to see which ports they use

I think I’ll ask in a store somewhere, same problem with every iPhone I’ve ever owned, on every wifi network I’ve tried but it could be port related. I used to think that my phone was just too old and out of date, using a newer xr model so should definitely work. I thought I wouldn’t get this with a newer iphone
well I never had a single issue with my ios devices playing games using wifi, at home, at work or at my parents wifi networks, are in denmark would not think it being different than uk
