After I downloaded the latest update, most of my mail started going to junk mail. Senders are in my contact list. I can't figure out what changed in junk settings.
MacBook Air 13″, macOS 13.2
Checked my Gmail account and it is sending items to spam. Mail is picking that info up from Gmail. Didn't realize that's how it works! I'll adjust Gmail.

Could you please confirm if this is happening only in the Mail client, or is it happening on your email providers website as well?
If you flag something as not being junk, are those senders emails still coming in as junk? Change Junk Mail settings in Mail on Mac - Apple Support
Testing this will help narrow down what may be happening.
