My Beats Studio Buds don’t update

If you're on 1B116, you are on the most current version. Here's what is on the Apple site: Beats Studio Buds Firmware 1B116

RELEASE

Release 10M2155 is the most current. It's kind of confusing that most everything on the web lists the release number of 10M2155 instead of the version number of 1B116 as the most current, but they are the same.

What steps are you using to perform the update. The steps are a bit tricky.

The case must be plugged into power - with lid open (for pairing).

Then you pair to apple device... iPhone for example.

The expectation is an automatic update will be triggered.

Note: the iOS device must be running latest software.

Were you able to get this fixed? I have the same problem and haven’t found any solution.

I have that problem too. I honestly think they made a slightly defective bunch. Mine also make a noise when they’re pushed into my ear. It turns into a screeching sound at max or high volumes.

Beats Studio Buds firmware 1B204 (10M4372) has been released July 2023

Still not updating 1B116 to newer release, like 1B204 or something. (using iPhone 8 with latest iOS)
