iCloud has informed me that I am almost out of space. It says that I have 40.6. gb of documents. That cannot be so for a couple of reasons.
Can anyone shine some light on this and help me to solve this problem, please?

Documents may be originating from other sources than your Documents and Desktop folders on Mac. They could be files sent via email and text that are being saved, for example in your Downloads. This also includes data from third-party sources like app data. Many thanks. I have discovered though that an iCloud Archive folder is created every time you sign out of iCloud. I presume this is also saved and must take up masses of your iCloud storage. Thanks again for your help.
