Yes, if the item has not been hidden by the family member and purchase sharing is turned on.

One other question: I get free song downloads from a station I support via donations. It appears that home sharing may only work for items I purchase from Apple. Am I correct or are those items included/downloable (is that a word) as well? (I can download then to my phone when I physically connect it to my pc - but am curious about the home sharing option.) Thanks
