HDMI (Video transfer) Over Ethernet

So since the thunderbolt ports on my late 2013 imac 27inch doesent work i looked for years for a solution and the closest ive gotten was wireless solutions but those wasent reliable and i didnt like the quality. I work in production and needed something that holds a good resolution and anything wireless like miracast or airplay or anything over the network wouldnt work. I saw online that there is something that allows ethernet to be used as a hdmi cable and using a adapter you can use it as a way to use a second monitor with ethernet with hdmi going into the monitor. Please let me know if this is a solution and how will this work on imac. Im pretty sure my imac is running macOS Catalina 10.15. I would like to know if the mac will identify as a 2nd monitor and use it as if it was plugged into the thunderbolt port or if i would need a third part software to control it and stuff. Thanks for your interest!

Before responding please read these key points

-Thunderbolt Ports on imac dont work

-Using any wireless HDMI with airplay or anything like that is not a solution bc too big delay

(Im still looking for a solution to use a 2nd monitor on my mac so lmk if you have anything or ideas that work)
