I have a 20 watt adapter but a baseus usb-a to lighting cord.My iphone se 2nd gen charges at 1 % per minute.If i charge with the iphone 13’s charger (my friends) it charges faster at about 3% per minute why is that so?

Hey there! your phone may have a power limiter on it. With it being the 20W and not the normal 5W it is supposed to charge at a faster pace. The intake is limited on the older phones because of the small size of the device and the smaller the device the less capacity. Compared to an IPhone 13 or 14…. They are bigger so they would have a larger battery which results in a larger capacity.

But i have the se 2020 which supports fast charge if 18watts.Also if thee is a power limit how can i remove it.Thanks.
