AirPods Pro Connect with Samsung TV

I am trying to connect my AirPods Pro to my Samsung TV. The TV will show airpods in Bluetooth speaker list but it says “needs pairing”. Then when you click to pair and connect it searches and says it can’t connect. The airpods are on, in the case (and open) in pairing mode. Nothing is working.

Hello Samh24,

Thanks for choosing the Apple Support Communities. We understand you want to connect your AirPods with a non-Apple device. We have a few steps for you to follow that may resolve the issue, please follow those below.

Pair AirPods with a non-Apple device - Apple Support

"To set up your AirPods with an Android phone or other non-Apple device, follow these steps:

  1. On your non-Apple device, make sure that Bluetooth is on (on an Android device, go to Settings > Connections > Bluetooth).
  2. Do one of the following:
    • AirPods (all generations) or AirPods Pro (all generations): With your AirPods in the charging case, open the lid, then press and hold the setup button on the back of the AirPods case for about five seconds, or until the status light flashes white.
    • AirPods Max: Press and hold the noise control button for about five seconds, or until the status light flashes white.

3. When your AirPods appear in the list of Bluetooth devices, select them."

We hope this helps.

Cheers!
