I want to get a backup disk like I did for my old iMac which uses as Seagate device. Can someone please give me ifrecito on this? Totally agree, virtually any HD or SSD will work. I recommend using Disk Utility in your Utilities folder to erase and reformat the new drive for use with the Mac and to not use any back-up software that the drive may come with.
