water into my macbook speakers

hi! so i have a macbook air M1 2020 and i dropped some water on my left side speakers where the ports are. i removed the water asap but now my adapter that was connected doesn’t function normally. i use it for my mouse and when it’s plugged in my mouse doesn’t move like it used to although i tested both ports with my charger and they work. any advice or idea why it’s not working?
