My AirPods goes from amber to green then goes out

Reading Apple's support docs, this suggests you might have a setup and pairing issue.


When you connect your case to a charger, or place your MagSafe Charging Case or Wireless Charging Case on a Qi-certified charging mat, the status light will stay on for 8 seconds. If the light flashes white, your AirPods are ready to set up with one of your devices. If the light flashes amber, you may need to set up your AirPods again.

If there is now no response at all from your AirPods I suggest you check the battery is charged, connect and leave the case on charge for at least 1 hour. If you can't get it working again then contact Apple Support for more detailed advice and arrange to get the AirPods examined and serviced.
