How to record your screen

1. Go to Settings > Control Center, then tap the Add button  next to Screen Recording.

2. Open Control Center on your iPhone, or on your iPad.

3. Tap the gray Record button , then wait for the three-second countown.

4. Exit Control Center to record your screen.

5. To stop recording, open Control Center, then tap the red Record button . Or tap the red status bar at the top of your screen and tap Stop.

Go to the Photos app and select your screen recording.

Some apps might not allow you to record audio or video. You can't record your screen and use screen mirroring at the same time.

If trying to narrate over top of the recorded video/audio through your microphone, you can do so by enabling Microphone while recording. When using AirPods it would default to that microphone instead of using your internal microphone.

Keep in mind as it states above, not all apps will allow you to record audio/video. If you notice you’re unable to do so in a particular app or app, those apps don’t support the ability to do so.
