+1 on babowa's response. Apple changed their terms for AppleCare+ in the summer of 2022 to include the same "country where sold..." language as the iPhone and iPad AppleCare terms. It is in the US documentation:

All in Thai language, but I supposed that the cover only applies to this country.
I'm a foreigner living in Thailand, but next week I like to buy a new Mac in Hong Kong.
With this knowledge it seems to me better not to take out a guarantee because that will not apply in Thailand
You can buy Applecare for 60 days after purchase of the device (in the US). I don't know the rules in foreign countries. And it will be tied to the machine/serial number you buy it for which means it is valid in the country you bought the device.

Well, Apple owns the company and gets to make the rules. Personally, I believe offering a worldwide support network would be too costly - different countries means different laws and rules and different hardware. For instance, face recognition is not allowed in some countries so the device and iOS have to be configured differently so there is no way to service that device in another region. It needs to be cost effective.
Of course it owns the company, but depending of the customers, or I'm wrong?
They exist by the grace of God through their customers, I know they would like to forget that.
About phones, you are right it is maybe difficult but about computers it is different, in nearly every country there are service centra, the laptops and desktops are all the same.

No, probably not; Apple states that coverage may be restricted to the country of purchase. Best check with Apple.
But, maybe I'm wrong, it is possible to request the 'Applecare' within a week after purchase?
The legal wording in the terms is somewhat vague: "may restrict coverage...." which means they may or may not provide coverage...........
With that kind of uncertainty you don't buy an expensive device.
But I've since changed my plans, I am not buying a new Mac.
