Macbook Pro 14" 2023 keeps disconnecting from external HDMI 2.1 LG C2 42" Monitor

Something odd keeps happening with my system when plugged into an external LG C2 42" TV via the HDMI port on my 2023 Macbook Pro 14".

It will disconnect, then reconnect then disconnect then reconnect and repeat that process a few times. Oddly, when the display returns after doing this, the wifi is also disconnected, and it asks for my wifi password again. And when I type the password correctly, the it says it failed to connect. Then it will randomly disconnect and reconnect again, and wifi returns to working normally. Has anyone else experienced this?

Hello Radium3D,

To help resolve this issue, try connecting the display into a different HDMI port. If possible, you can also try a different HDMI cable. This will help determine if there is an issue with the cable or port on the MacBook Pro. Disconnect any additional peripheral devices from the MacBook Pro to make sure they aren't causing interference.

If the issue persists, boot into safe mode to see if it helps clears the issue up. Safe mode can bypass software and resolve many issues. Depending on the results you get, follow the additional steps in the article: How to use safe mode on your Mac - Apple Support

Best Regards.
