Why can't I link my google authentication app to my Twitter account?

Do twitter support it? It’s not a given they do, some also choose to go with Microsoft authentication app or make their own like blizzard do

Thanks, but I don't think this has anything to do with the brand of the authenticator. It's a question of how to enable it on my iPhone...
